Katy Perry is an American singer from California. Katy Perry’s real name is actually Kate Hudson but she changed her name because it was the same as the actress Kate Hudson.
Katy was born on October 25th 1984 and is 26. A few weeks ago she got married to the actor Russell Brand in India. Katy Perry has had lots of No1 singles including ‘California gurls’, ‘I Kissed a girl’, ‘Hot ‘n’ Cold’, ‘Teenage dream’ and her new single ‘Firework’. Katy Perry was also on an episode of X Factor. She has won alot of awards including Artist of the Decade which she won in 2009. Katy Perry has her new album out now which is called Teenage Dream, I love Katy Perry’s songs my favourite is California Gurls. I recommend this for anyone who likes good music.
