This film is about Alvin, Theodore and Simon, who are singing chipmunks.  When at their concert their manager, Dave gets hit by a sign he sends them to high school. There are some really mean bullies there, but also some really cute Chipettes named Brittany, Jeanette and Eleanor This film is hilarious. I love it and I hope you do too.  It is out on DVD already.

Doctor Who

Doctor Who is a show on BBC1 and it is full of adventure. It is about a man called The Doctor and he is the last time lord of his kind. He can travel to the future and the past and he has a new assistant called Amy Pond. The show might be quite scary so I would recommend it to people aged 7 or 8 and above, it depends on how scared you get! The show is excellent and gets you on the edge of your seat. The show is very funny so I hope you watch it. It is shown on a Saturday night at 6:30. I hope you watch it and enjoy it because it’s excellent!

Facts about animals

Weird facts about animals:
• Emus and kangaroos cannot walk backwards.

• Elephants are the only animals that can’t jump.

• Polar bears are left handed.

• A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out.

• A cat has 32 muscles in each ear.

• Tigers have striped skin not just striped fur.

• Reindeer eat moss because it contains a chemical that stops their body from freezing.

• The Chameleon's tongue is as long as its body.

• The Chameleon can focus its eyes separately to watch two objects at once.

Facts about endangered animals

Man is wiping out species so fast that children today will never have the opportunity of seeing many of those that are still living now. By the time they are grown up, many more species will be extinct. The destruction of the Amazon Rainforests, for instance, which is taking place now, will wipe out thousands of species of animal life that we haven’t yet even identified.

There are currently at least 38 known species of mammals that are extinct.

How many animals are there?

Scientists who study animal life are called zoologists. They have recorded 20,000 species of fish, 6,000 species of reptiles, 9,000 birds, 1,000 amphibians, and 15,000 species of mammals. And, although there are a million named species of insects, scientists estimate that there could be another million waiting to be discovered and named!

Ant and Dec’s Push the Button

Ant and Dec’s Push the Button is a hilarious show on ITV1 where two families go head to head to win the grand prize. First Ant and Dec give both families £100,000 but the small games are designed to take money off that total! The games are always different, there have been games where you had to feel what was inside the boxes and guess what it its. There has been a game where there was a big head of Simon Cowell and teeth slotted down for 3 seconds. You had to count up the teeth and at the end the person with the score closest to the highest wins. When you win an activity you push the button and take 5,000 pounds off the other family, but some of the games you have to do something really quick, and the cash you have got counts down! The family who wins gets to face D.A.V.E! Each member of the family has their own button to press which plays a note. D.A.V.E plays a sequence of notes and each member of the family has to press their button in the right order to repeat the sequence. If they get all the sequences right they get to keep all the money they won. Unfortunately the show is over for now but I am sure it will be back on soon!

Alice in Wonderland in 3D

Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton, written by Linda Woolverton. It stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen and Stephen Fry. The film uses a technique of combining live action and animation.

In the film, Alice is now 19 years old and accidentally returns to Underland, a place she previously visited 13 years ago. She is told that she is the only one that can slay the Jabberwocky, a dragon controlled by the Red Queen. Burton said “the original Wonderland story was always about a girl wandering around from one character to another and he never felt a connection emotionally”, so he wanted to make it feel more like a story than a series of events. He does not see this as a sequel. It premiered in London at the Odeon Leicester Square on February 25, 2010 and was released in the United Kingdom on March 5. When I went to see it I thought all of the 3D bits were amazingly good!!! I recommend it to people over 9 because the story line is a bit complicated for people younger.
