Spongebob Sqaurepants

Spongebob is a funny sponge who is square and yellow. His best friend is called Patrick, he’s a starfish. Sometimes they are really really stupid! Spongebob. Patrick’s next door neighbour is Squid ward, an octopus, I don’t know why they call him a squid! Spongebob has another friend, Sandy, she is a squirrel. She likes karate and all survivor things. Spongebob’s manager is Mr Crabs and he absolutely loves money, if you take away his money he would get very angry with you. Plankton is Spongebob and Mr Crab’s enemy, he always tries to steal the krabby Patti formula. He uses all kinds of disguises, once he pretended to be a bug but he got stepped on (what a relief)! There’s also Pearl, she is Mr Crab’s daughter. She is a whale, a very heavy whale - in fact in one episode she falls through her bedroom floor and lands in front of her dad (Mr Crabs)! Mr Crabs forgets it is Pearl’s birthday the next day so he has to get Sponge Bob to buy all the stuff that Pearl wants. He ends up with all the stuff Pearl wants and Mr Crabs is not very happy because Sponge Bob has spent too much money. Gary is Sponge Bob’s pet snail. He is one of my favourite characters, even though he doesn’t talk. He is a very cute snail. I think Sponge Bob thinks he is cute too. I think you should watch this episode you’ll love it!

Chessington

Transylvania at Chessington

Can you handle the excitement? Are you ready for a fright? Grab your garlic and dare to ride the fang-tastic Vampire roller coaster. Fly over the Transylvanian tree tops like a bat out of hell with your legs dangling below you!

Vampire has one of the lowest high restrictions (1.1 metre) for a roller coaster in Europe, so even little devils can cut their teeth on this frightful ride.

The land of the dragons

Dragon’s Fury is the red-hot spinning roller coaster that’s waiting to test your courage and spin you round ‘til you won’t know your tail from your teeth. You’re not scared of a furious fire-breathing dragon are you?

Horse riding!

I started going horse riding on Saturday 12.9.09.

I rode a horse called Dave on my first and second

times there. On my second time my leader (who leads the horse) said that if I kept on riding Dave

I would be a great horse-rider when I got older.

Unfortunately I rode Coco on my third time and

Gem on my fourth. But luckily, on my fifth lesson,

I was with Dave again.

On my sixth lesson, my Nana and Grandpa took me. I rode Mowgli on that lesson, but I didn’t really

like him that much.

The next week was Halloween, so there was no

Horse-riding. But the week after that

I was with Dave again!

Disaster struck! I was getting my helmet on when

I heard that the people who owned Dave were going to sell him! I rode him that day and when

I got home I cried for twenty minutes in my bedroom. It was probably the last time I will ever see Dave again. Bye Dave!

Year 5 Greek day

On Monday 23rd November 2009 a man came in and performed a play for Year 5. It was about a boy, a king, Athena (a goddess) and Medusa (a gorgon). After that, half of year 5 went in the hall again and took part in a mini Olympics. There were 4 teams, Athens, Sparta, Corinth and Olympia. Olympia won both times. I was part of Olympia! The sports we played were relay races, javelin, archery and wrestling. We all had a great day!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince game review

Harry Potter and the half blood prince is quite a difficult game, but you soon get used to it. You must make potions for Professor Slughorn and learn spells for Professor McGonagall and duel Malfoy, Crab and Goyle to get your friends out of tight spots!

You have to go to the ministry and fight death eaters, but Voldemort doesn’t get involved like he does in Order of the Pheonix.

Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia is a film that I recommend for 7 and above, seeing as it’s a PG. It has smash hit singles from Abba and is an excellent family film. It is all about laughter and singing and dancing, it is excellent! It is about a girl called Sophie, who is about to get married, on a mission to find her father before the big day. But there was one big problem, she didn’t know who he is! After reading her mum Dona’s diary she finds out it was one of her 3 old loves, but she can’t find out who. Knowing her mum will say no, she invites them all! Sophie desperately tries to keep them hidden but it’s not long till the secret is out and the fun begins…

Charmed

Charmed

Charmed is a TV show about 3 supernatural witches who live in San Francisco. There names are Prue, Phoebe, Piper and in series 4,5,6,7 and 8 there is Paige.

I recommend this for children 10 and older because it could get quite scary. The show is on Living and it’s really good because the charmed ones are funny, and I like it when they fight the demons.

It’s on every weekday at 4:00pm and 5:00pm I hope you enjoy it!!!

Children in Need

Every year we have a non uniform day and we have to bring in a pound to raise money for Children in Need. Our target this year was £400.00 which is a lot, but considering we have 408 pupils in our school plus teachers we thought we could do it! This year we raised £564.02 which is £164.02 over our target which is great!! Next year we hope we can do even better. We are very pleased to be sending that money to Children in Need, as usual.

Lymington Leisure Centre

In Lymington there is Lyminton Leisure Centre. It does a range of sports like hockey, swimming and badminton.

Every Wednesday I go down to the centre with my mum, my sister and sometimes my grandma.

Hockey

My sister goes down there to play hockey because she’s in the New Milton hockey team.In hockey there are different age groups.

My sister is in the under 16s but is very close to becoming a part of the ladies team next year. The next age group is the under 14s which are for people under 14.

Badminton

There is also badminton played at different times. The one I go to is at 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm. If you forget your badminton racket they will give you one for free plus shuttle cocks.

Swimming

At reception they have leaflets telling you all the swimming times. If you just want to swim or do your lengths go for public swimming, but you can also go to a swim class.

Legoland Fireworks

The Legoland fireworks are amazing because they tell an adventure story about the curse of the mummy while the fireworks are going on. But that’s not all! They also have the rides open for an hour after the show. The good thing is that it also is not blocked to get out the car park. What a good show.
