Ballroom dancing!

I really enjoy Ballroom dancing and I do it as a hobby every Wednesday. I had an exam for my Bronze Award on Sunday the 14th of October 2010.
Then I had a presentation on the 1st of December 2010.  I found out that I scored highly commended. I was really happy because that is a great score!

The dances I have learnt are the jive, the quick step, the cha cha cha, the waltz and a little of the fox trot .

Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a 24 years old singer from Hereford. She has a very nice voice and personality. Ellie used to play the clarinet and guitar when she was younger but now she’s a singer. She’s been singing since she was 14 and now her dream has come true. She’s probably most famous for her songs ‘Starry eyes’ ‘The writer’ and her cover of ‘Your song’ which was sung originally by Elton John. She’s had two albums called ‘Lights’ and her new one called ‘Bright Lights’. She also has a BRIT award! I think you should you should definitely buy her CD because she’s amazing.

Mars Needs Mums is a new Disney animated movie that is going to be what every one is talking about; it is a must see!!

The Genre of the movie is: Adventure/comedy

“Take out the rubbish; eat your broccoli”—who needs moms, anyway? That’s the question that this movie says is wrong, because mums are there to look after you, even if sometimes they seem a little bit strict! The boy in this film misses his mum terribly when she seems to disappear to Mars. The film follows the boy’s efforts to try to save his mum.

This story looks great so you should go and see it!

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was the king of pop. He had over 500 hundred songs and all he wanted was to dance. When he was alive he loved his fans. He was the most amazing dancer in the world and had his own move, the moon walk

Some of his songs were aimed to help save the world and poor people in different

Countries. Michael Jackson was an amazing pop star. R.I.P.

Got To Dance is a brilliant TV program on Sky1/ Sky1HD. Got To Dance is a competition a bit like Britain’s Got Talent and the Xfactor, but the only thing you can do is dance. This TV program is hosted by Davina Mcall. The judges are Ashley Banjo (the leader of diversity), Adam Garcia (an Australian actor and tap dancer) and Kimberly Wyatt (an American singer and song writer. She was also in Pussy Cat Dolls). There are several stages you have to get through to win the £250,000. First, you have to audition and to get through this you have to have 2 gold stars or more. If you get two red stars or more then you have to go home. Secondly, when they get through from the auditions they get through to the short list which is when the judges decide who goes through to the semi-finals. Next you go through to the live semi-finals which is when the public vote. Finally, if you get through to the live final- you’ve guessed it already –you win if you get the most votes!

Primeval is back with its 4th series! After 2 years it’s back with two new characters, team leader Matt Anderson and assistant Jess Parker. There are also other characters, one is Emily who is from the Victorian era and her evil companion Ethan. This series is amazing and I’m really enjoying it at the moment. If you’ve missed it so far then you can watch it on ITV iplayer. This is probably suitable for ages 7 up because sometimes it’s a bit scary. I love this series and I hope you do too.

Every week I go to Waterside Gymnastics club.
It is really popular -when I tried to join it took a month because it is so booked up!
The activities they do are:

If you find something quite tricky the coaches are really nice so they will help you.
I enjoy Gymnastic because I like learning new things.
Why don’t you join too?

New York Minute

New York Minute is an amazing film which stars Mary–Kate and Ashley Olsen. It is about two sisters that have a crazy adventure and get chased by two weird men! One is a Chinese man and the other is a fake cop!!!! It is really funny and overall I think it is a brilliant film so you should definitely see it!

Matt Cardle won the X Factor

As you have probably heard, Matt Cardle won the X Factor! He started off in London; he got through every week, until the last show The Final! Dermot O’Leary announced that Matt Cardle was the winner and Rebecca Ferguson was second. Matt used to be a painter and decorator but he absolutely hated the job! I was so pleased he won but quite upset that One Direction only came third. The X Factor is on again next year and I absolutely recommend it. I really cannot wait for the next series!
