Sally Johnson Ballet Club

In Hedge End, in Wildern School there is a ballet school run by a professional ballet dancer by the name of Sally Johnson. Sally was trained by the Royal Ballet School in London. She also has other people who help her who do jazz, modern, grade ballet and lots of other type of dance. It is great fun and anyone can do it with any level of experience of dance. Also it is a good way to keep fit! The first time I joined I didn’t know anyone but by the next week I knew nearly everyone. Sadly it is only for children. In ballet if Sally thinks you are good enough she will talk with you and your parents and see if you want to do festivals. These are the best! Her website is sjacademyofdance. If you would like to dance then come and join us. Can’t wait to see you!!

Home Alone 4 !!!

I recommend this movie for children aged 5 and above. It’s very funny, it’s about Kevin who is about 10, who has a mum and dad who have split up. He also has a big sister and a big brother, and his Dad has found a new woman. Her name is Natasha and she lives in a cool mansion. She has a type of remote that you can speak into. For example, if you say ‘Door close’ then the door will close!
She is having a big party and she has invited the royal family. There are two nasty teenagers, a boy and a girl who are kidnapers, and they want to kidnap the prince.
Kevin does lots of things to stop the kidnappers, but will he manage to save they day?
For girls I think it is 7 out of 10.
For boys I think it is 9 out of 10.

Band Slam

Band Slam

This film is partly a comedy and partly a band movie.
At the beginning of the movie there is a girl called Sa5m [the 5 is silent!]. She is very good at singing but very quiet and then suddenly
she starts a band to try to win a competition about her enemies. The film follows her putting her band together. It is really funny. I recommend this movie to children 8 and above. By Amber

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince review

Mean, moody and magnificent; probably the best yet in the Harry Potter series. This is a story at its most spellbinding – dark and spooky. It is filled with promised darkness sitting somewhat clumsily along with teen romance and humour. For fans of both the books and the films, this is an elegant addition. Watch it! It is well directed and produced and has brilliant casting. It is recommended for all magic lovers.
