X Factor

The X Factor this year is really kicking off! With Dannii Minogue on maternity leave some guest judges replace her. There’s Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice),

American singer Katy Perry, Australian singer/actor Natalie Imbruglia,
teen singer Pixie Lott and Pussycat Doll
Nicole Scherzinger. The host this year is still Dermot O’Leary and there’s also a new host called Konnie Huq who is hosting the Xtra Factor this year. It’s been great so far and there are still loads of episodes left until the final. I can’t wait to find out who wins!

Aladdin

For this Christmas’ pantomime, The Mayflower theatre has got Paul O’Grady to play Ms Lily Savage in a final, rare and unique stage appearance in ALADDIN – A Wish Come True.

Lily plays one of the greatest dames in pantomime in the story of Widow Twankey and her son Aladdin – who inherit a laundry in old Peking. This quickly leads them towards a tale of adventure, mishap, love, comedy and magic carpet rides.

I’m going to see it in December and I can’t wait!!.

How To Be Indie

‘How to be Indie’ is a great funny comedy on Disney Channel. It is about a 13 year old girl called Indie who loves to have fun and be adventurous. Unfortunately it is very hard for her to do so with her very strict parents not allowing her to have fun and with her mean brother and sister. So watch ‘How to be Indie’ on Disney Channel to find out if she can make everyone happy and still have fun with her two best friends, Marlon and Abby.

World Cup 2010 South Africa

This year’s World Cup is in South Africa and there are 32 teams
playing including England. But the problem is the noise of the vuvu-zelas
is making the football players and everyone else deaf!
This year’s captain for England is now Steven Gerrard
after Rio Ferdinand painfully hurt his knee while playing football.
The reason David Beckham is not playing this year
is because he injured his Achilles.
But England are already out because they lost against Germany,
but let’s see what happens in 4 years! This year is going
great for the rest of the world, I can’t wait to find out who wins!

Good Luck Charlie

Good Luck Charlie is an excellent TV show on Disney Channel all about the Duncan family still adjusting to their fourth child, Charlie. With Charlie’s parents, Amy, a nurse, and Bob, an exterminator, returning to work they ask Charlie’s older sister Teddy, and Charlie’s two older brothers PJ, the sometimes silly one and Gabe the naughty one to look after they’re younger sister Charlie. Teddy makes video diaries with advice for Charlie for when she grows up. PJ’s best friend Emmett, who fancies Teddy and is in a band with PJ, and Teddy’s best friend Ivy also help out with Charlie. Teddy also has a big crush on Spencer, a boy at her school, but always ruins her chances with him. The series starts were Teddy is 15, PJ is 17, Gabe is 10 and Charlie is nine months old. I think it is a great show and I think you would love it because it is a great family comedy.
