On 8th March every year in Poland there is a Girl’s Day. Girls in Poland get gifts and presents from family and friends. Some schools give presents out to girls for being a girl! However in Poland there’s also a Boy’s Day where boys get gifts from families and friends and some schools. Older women get presents too, normally flowers or a card. In some schools the boys have to sing happy birthday even though it isn’t their birthday! Sometimes girls get expensive gifts like a huge piggy-bank and sometimes they get cheap things like a comic and a chocolate bar. Remember Girls Day in March next year!
